CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT BOARD (CIDB)
The Malaysian Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) is a registration corporation for all construction contractors who wish to participate in tenders in the fields of Building (B), Civil Engineering (CE), Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (ME) and Facility Management (FM) throughout Malaysia. They are three (3) types of certificate issued by CIDB which are Perakuan Pendaftaran Kontraktor (PPK), Sijil Perolehan Kerja Kerajaan (SPKK) and Sijil Taraf Bumiputera (STB). All Grades, Categories and Specializations are depending on the qualifications and capabilities of each company in terms of financial limits, technical employees and also the experiences.
UNIT PENDAFTARAN KONTRAKTOR DAN JURUPERUNDING (UPKJ)
Unit Pendaftaran Kontraktor Dan Juruperunding (UPKJ) is a unit for MANDATORY registration for all contractors who wish to participate in tenders that include the fields of Work, Supply and Services, Electrical, Mechanical and Consultants under the Government of Sarawak State. However, the registration must meet the terms and condition set by UPKJ. All Classes, Heads, Sub-heads, Categories and Bumiputera Status also depend on the qualifications and capabilities of a company in terms of financial limits, technical employees and also experiences. Any company that wish to be registered under the Work, Mechanical and Electrical Field must be registered with CIDB (PPK) to qualify themselves for company registration.
MINISTRY OF FINANCE MALAYSIA
The Malaysian Ministry of Finance - Malaysian Treasury Sarawak (MOF/FFO) is a registration department for all suppliers to enable suppliers to participate in tenders in the field of supplies and services. MOF/FFO offers tenders and contracts through the Eperolehan system.
